I used the object path effect starting off. Then I set the fill to default. And set it to the back. Then I used the line segment tool to create the ear. Then set the color to purple. Afterwards I used the drop shadow tool.

Snapchat GeoFilter
I used Adobe Illustrator to make this filter. It is a geo filter for Kyoto, Japan. I used Adobe Capture to take a picture of one of the temples (taken from google images) and painted under it. I then used the font SignPainter to add the name Kyoto.
